Zinefest Houston was awesome. Everyone was very nice and we sold a lot of stuff. Entire boxes of stuff. It was great!
People thought we were good and our stuff was good and we felt like a thousand dollars. Thank you Shane and Lindsey and Zinefest Houston! We hope they have it next year. They didn’t have it last year but had it in 2009 and we were there.
We also got a few copies of The Houston Entertainicle while we were there, and we had three comics inside. Awesome! We love The Houston Entertainicle and we got to visit with Ashley and thank her in person but Keith had to work but we wanted to thank him too. Thanks Keith!
We also got to meet CEJ of Armzrace Comics and many other cool people too numerous to list at this time. (It would take about an hour to say nice things about everyone and I don’t have it right now). Instead I will mention them one by one in our blog as I read their trades in the up-and-coming weeks. Cool?
They also had like six bands and out of those, over half of them didn’t suck!

Fred: Travel is getting more and more difficult for us. Our vehicle, The Scout Ship SEV6 is getting on in years, and our gas mileage seems to be on the decline. The price of gas going through the f…ing roof doesn’t help either. So having a neighbor like Houston is great.
We aren’t big fans of Austin. I think it’s human nature to take the place you live for granted. Everyone in Austin is jaded regarding anything of an entertaining nature. It kind of sucks to be standing in the midst of a million people all screaming, “look what I can do!”.
I remember that Tulsa had like the biggest gun show in the world or something. I remember going as a kid and seeing the big oil guy statue. You couldn’t see the whole show in one day.
I’d like to table at it.
Also, I have no idea what the tiny fire extinguisher is, and can only assume it came from one of our most excellent ButterSword grab bags!
