The New Beginning Page 10

The New Beginning Page 10

Gosh!  The excitement and the build-up-ed-ness of the tense-ness!

It makes me want to play my guitar.  I should go and fetch it from the shed.  As soon as I remember which shed it’s in.

To celebrate my decide-ining on finding my one string guitar, I’ll soon begin posting free mp3s of old music I took part in.  Mostly juvenile delinquent rock to begin with.  It’s not only what I played as one, but it’s also easy to make fun of and to draw comics about.

I’ve never posted an mp3 on this website before so I’m hoping it’ll go well and not be too much of a bother.  I’m not good at computing.  Computer bad!

Now then… even though the strange large object that is unidentified and appears to be floating or flying in some sort of fashion across the sky robbed the comic of it’s color today, stay tuned for some color after this day’s end for our latest report and review on a trade from Gabe Dieter!

When we returned from our recent excursion to Houston, we found an email in our email that said we were great.

Liking that someone else was thinking this, we requested a mailing address and we mailed a little thank you letter, hoping for maybe a reader.

Instead we got back an awesome package from someone who is also (or truly) great with two amazing issues of PSYCHO-PLASMICS CAUSES CANCER! By Gabriel Dieter

Before I continue I’ll show you the covers (of the real deal actual comic book size full color books on awesome paper).

I’m not going to show you any interiors, but they are very, very cool indeed.  I remember some of the objects that became some of the subjects of some of the art and I was pleased by that.  But beyond that, the style.

Just… don’t take my word and go check it out.

The images above link to Gabe’s website Revenge of the World.  You can also click here to go to it, or go to it by clicking here.

Also he has another link in his book that points to a flickr page full of art photos and you can go there by clicking here.

He also sent us these bad-ass refrigerator magnets!

We just recently got a new refrigerator in case you didn’t know, and we thought that was really swell!

Lastly, he has a collaborative called ZZVeins and we’ll definitely be contributing something.  Thanks Gabe!  We’ll be mailing something your way you one-upper!  Awesome stuff man.

Nicely done! Loving the story so far. Does the devil dude live on the spaceship?

Gratz on the 1-string guitar by the way.

  2. SQLGuru says:

I think that is excellent use of black and white in the main story panel. It gives the effect of “completely washed out due to an intense beam”.

  3. COWANSKI says:

Great artist. Great guy. Glad to see this review.

  4. MC/Curtis says:

Thanks guys! The devil dude is not on the spaceship but he’ll be back. Initially not directly.

But what is on the spaceship? And will Curtis and Ann find a way to escape or even survive?

I hope they packed toilet paper because they are about to s… !

The review was fun but what can one really say? People have to see to believe and I hope they check it out. I’m no art critic, but I think what I’ve seen is really great!

  5. Tony McGurk says:

Oh it was the alien spaceship. I was really looking forward to seeing the Harley riding Biker Squirrel…

  6. MC/Curtis says:

I’ll see what I can do.

  7. Libby says:

There are no words to describe how bodacious this is.

  8. Jen/Ann says:

    Welcome Libby and thank you!

  9. alecho says:

Hope they don’t get probed ;)
