Hello! I have a second comic for you today as well. I’m not sure why I signed it. I rarely do. I guess at the time I must have thought it was a good one. I shouldn’t have signed it because Jen did the top two frames, but at the time they weren’t combined.
We made them one day when we went hiking in the woods. We had to drive to these particular woods. No pines around Austin but they aren’t too far away.
Also today we get to show and tell our first picture from our recent excursion to Seattle.
You can see The Space Needle in the distance. We didn’t go up it. Instead we went up in a taller building that was cheaper. It had a Starbucks on like the 40th floor. We took the picture from like the 70th floor. Some people from England were up there too. We think. We didn’t talk to them (we never talk to anyone) but they had accents. The building had a view all the way around three sides and in the middle of the floor was a radio station. It was on the air at the time, so everyone was supposed to be quiet. But Jen and I are pretty quiet usually anyway.
The weather was perfect.
Now we’re trying to survive the heat again. We hope you survive it as well. We’ll have another page and more for you Monday. If you have a moment you could click one of our many many voting badges (take your pick!) and cast a vote for us somewhere. That’d be swell.

I need some of that drink right now…
Welcome Midtoon! Ya… I likes me some Power Aid and what-not. Starbucks too. In Seattle it tasted better, but maybe it was just me.
Hey Mc sorry it is taken me this long but I got it done and it will be in the mail today. It is not perfect stuff, but I am sure you will enjoy it. Looking forward to our trade and I love the second picture too pretty cool.
Wondering if when the story is done that you will put out some comic books that would be sweet
Sweet! Thanks Fred! I’ll start getting you a trade ready.
We’ll definitely be making some kind of printed product from The New Beginning.
Probably two.
The internet has these one-off places now, so people could order a big expensive full color comic and we’d get like 10% so… we’ll probably do that as well as a small homemade black and white inexpensive zine that we can mail out ourselves.
I’m thinking about designing something that fits in a regular envelope. That might be a fun challenge. Or maybe a card envelope. That would be easy.
The second cartoon reminds me of our old house that was on a hill. My wife always wanted to go for walks so I would make her drive us to the top of the hill before I would walk.
Going downhill can be difficult as well, depending. If it’s a steep decline. I’m glad MC likes to walk. Sometimes he wants to walk more often than I want to walk.
Hey, great Seattle pic! I love to hear about your adventures.
Thank you LM! Likewise!
Yikes!!! I don’t like the look of the red eyed robots behind that door. I think I’d be freaking out too Jen. I need a blue energy drink. Will it reverse my oldness
The energy drink doesn’t grow hair for sure so I doubt it reverses oldness.
great pic…wow
Thanks!
uh oh! Here comes the alien army!
I’m glad that turned out to be apparent. I kind of did a Star Trek TOS door thing and I wasn’t sure it would be too tellable.
