We’re back. Tired from travel, but fulfilling our obligation of a new page. Not my best, but I’ll make it up to you Friday. Today also includes many a bonus.

First, two pages from Cookin’ Good in Space! (from ButterSword: Adventures in the Land of Space!) :

Next I get to show off some mail. FredSelfish sent Jen and I some really cool stuff. The picture we took of the stuff came out kind of dark but it’s still a cool picture. Here it is! (the picture):
Fred sent us his ButterSword fan comic in a nice frame and that was the coolest thing ever. He also included his hilarious comic zine Random Crap, a nice letter with some bonus art, and a dvd case titled FREDSELFISH The Complete First Season! Inside was an insert sized comic booklet and a cd with audio commentary of the comics in the dvd insert comic. Awesome. The comics and commentary are funny as hell, the packaging was clever and cool, and putting a comic book in a dvd case is something I’ll be imitating. Even Fred‘s envelope had bonus art!
I hung the framed art on our office wall near my desk. My half of our office is decorated with free posters you can order and receive in the mail from the internet. I hang most of them upside down or sideways. But now the office is even cooler. Thanks Fred it was great and we’ll get your trade mailed right away! I’ll email you the details sometime tomorrow.
You can visit FredSelfish by clicking here or by clicking the photos above.

Dallas sucked.
But Seattle was awesome. Have we talked about our trip to Seattle yet? Here is a picture Jen took of what we saw when we were on a boat.
It sure was nice. Not just the boat but the weather too.
The boat was called a ferry. People also drove their cars into it. We took it to an island. The island of the giant stone troll. More about that next time.
We hope you’ll join us Friday for more ButterSword! Please forgive my grammar, punctuation, and speeling as my editor Jen has already gone to bed. I’m about to too. We’ll probably fix up this post tomorrow.

Ah… so that’s where Curtis has been. The old trapped in the lifting beam& still managing to shoot from it trick. Well done!!!
Why is your “eat first thing” poster upside down?
Haha! The poster is a free cheese poster available here: http://www.cabotcheese.coop/pages/community_and_you/free_posters.php
You can spot it in the thumbnails. The wall theme (three walls) is ~free stuff from the internet~ so all the posters, charts, and graphs are free for the ordering, and some of them look better upside down.
Also, Thanks Tony! We were in Dallas until yesterday evening so I had to rush this page, so I’m extra glad it came out decent. I might or might not redo it.
I love the comic it look good to me. And that is awesome to see my art work hanging on your wall SOOO Cool. And I am glad you enjoy them. Sorry to hear about Dallas guess I didn’t miss anything then.
And that is cool to have your posters upside down. That is being different. And yes you can imitate anything that I make, It would be an honor.
I know I’m impressed! I couldn’t hit the side of a barn… sitting down… favoring either hand!
Hahaha! I love this guy. His excuses are classic.
I’m liking the Cookin’ Good stuff…fun
Thanks! They were hilarious. It’s a shame they broke up the act.
Don’t you just hate it when your characters start blamin’ their mistakes on how you draw them. They just don’t want to take any responsibility.
It’s true! Curtis might be a better shot than MC but MC is no slouch with a rifle. If Curtis misses though he’ll probably blame MC or shout for a cut and want a retake.
Also… Welcome to Spilled Ink Guy and Bo Lumpkin. Thanks for visiting and commenting!
First time here. See you next week.
Welcome Goeber! Awesome.
Butter Sword is an awesome name!
I like Curtis’s choice of weapon.
Thank you Hjortur and welcome!
It’s a great rifle. I made a few personal modifications to it myself, but even unaltered it’s a great rifle. I do wish the bullets were cheaper, but… I’m considering learning to reload my own.
Haha! I know a certain guy that drew a cheerleader by the pool with two right hands… I (HE, I mean, HE) conveniently placed a word balloon over one of the right hands to cover it. Hopefuly, it was the right hand that was suppossed to be the Left.
I’ve done that! I also often use the frame borders to chop off unwanted anatomy work. Usually hands or feet.
Ann is quite a shooter, but Curtis has mad aim!
like the drawing in this comic
Thanks! I’m actually right handed, but I didn’t really notice what I’d done until after the page was nearly completed. I can’t imagine firing a rifle that way, but some people do. I think the drawing itself looks pretty cool though.
