Haha! I like that alien too. He reminds me of Futurama. Sort of a Bender body with a head in a jar on top. Not a human one though.

Wow awesome comic. I wonder has the whole thing been them on the ship. And that is true a few good sword murders would be neat to hear about. I don’t even hear about sword cuts. Darn that is weird.
It’s weird right?! They sell the things at every flea market and roadside bargain store in the country. Even on the t.v. shopping channels. They are easier to get than a rifle but… no one gets killed with them!
They ARE still weapons right? I know they’re dated and big and heavy and all but…

I used to have lots of swords in my younger days – killed a good few people with them too !
Each Xmas, for about 6 years in a row, my pressie from my dad was two pieces of wood with a couple of nalis in them to make the form of a sword.
He claimed it was because money was tight and he couldn’t afford to buy me a ‘proper’ sword from the shops but I noticed even at that tender age that money was not so tight that the bugger couldn’t afford to buy himself some tobacco !!!
Actually, I was quite pleased with my homemade wooden sword – it made me near invincible when up against some posh kid with a store-bought plastic sword

I had a wooden light sabre prop one time. My friend and I made them from closet dowel rods, aluminum tape, and spray paint. We busted so many knuckles trying to film a Star Wars style fight scene I’m surprised we’re still friends! I put a huge goose egg on his forehead by accident too.
Wood definitely beats plastic. I can picture the posh kids with plastic swords running in fear.

I just don’t get it. I know we aren’t walking around in armor anymore either but… swords are abundant. You’d think at least ONE nutcase would go on a rampage with a sword.
I’m glad it doesn’t happen but it surprises me as well.

Swords are rather cumbersome to carry around and to conceal, so they don’t exactly make the most convenient weapon.
In the comic?
In the comic the alien spaceship is real. The dream is a dream but they are both having the same dream so something isn’t right about the dream. It isn’t a normal dream.
It’s my first epic tale so… I hope I can keep it from getting even more confusing.
It’s true swords are no longer the greatest weapon and I’m glad no one is being sworded but… no one is being sworded!
I usually dream about going to school not studying for an exam. Oh yeah, I’m also naked. I wonder how the aliens analyze that…
