BS & F

ButterSword and Friends: Comics From Across the Nation is one of our products and we have decided we should show you a few pages of it in the hopes that you will want to read the whole thing and you’ll purchase it for the sake of that reason.  It’s honestly not very expensive and you can read the rest of it when it arrives in your mailbox.

The cover (front and back) is by the elusive Jen.  Below is the original art from the front cover.

As the cover indicates with subtle panache, this collection features comics from three states.  Texas, New York, and Minnesota to be exact.  More on that in a moment.  First, we present you with a look at pages one and two but not really in actual size or on the actual paper and stuff.

As an added bonus for ordering ButterSword and Friends: Comics From Across the Nation, (other than getting to read the entire thing) is getting to witness what the mystery word is that lies within the strange black box in the image above.  And now we will tell you about the publication.

We prefer to call it a comic zine, but some people call them ash cans or mini comics.  It’s a professionally printed sixteen page black ink A5 sized comic book on white 100% recycled paper with a color cover.  Galaxy Orange!  Or maybe it was Orbit Orange.  We’ve forgotten, but it’s kind of a highlighter orange color and will look nice wherever you leave it.

Also you’ll find it more easily if you drop it in the front yard.

Also if you carry it in the woods you’ll be less likely to be shot by a hunter.

Inside are three full pages by one of the greatest humorists of the end of days, the mighty K.A. “Super Kurt” Polzin, creator of Other People Exist as well as comics, articles, blogs, and more humor related stuff than we’d care to list here!

Also within are four comics by the incredible multi-talented artist Robin Cain, creator of the outstanding Mindzai Comics.

ButterSword also contributes a plethora of comics, exclusive content, and really really cool back cover artwork by Jen.

Here is a photograph of ButterSword and Friends: Comics From Across the Nation that we took on a wooden board.

This method is our favorite.  You can donate $2.50 into our tip jar and include a quick note like, “I want ButterSword and Friends!” along with a shipping address, (or email those details to us separately if you prefer) and we will cheer and do a silly dance as we place a pen to your envelope.  By using the donation method, the online stores as well as PayPal don’t receive a percentage of our tiny profit, so we’ll have a few more coins that day with which to procure a piece of food or a needle and thread to repair our sock holes.
